Bankruptcy can be a stressful time for all parties involved, including debtors and creditors, and we work to alleviate as much of that stress as possible. Our firm has handled matters involving Chapters 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy proceedings, and we have represented debtors, secured creditors, and unsecured creditors. Over the years, our focus in this area has primarily involved representing creditors and lenders. In working with creditors, we aim to ensure that their rights are adequately protected during the processes of restructuring, refinancing, and reorganization. With debtors, our goal is to preserve assets and business relationships, while ensuring the proceedings are handled in an efficient and cost effective manner.
We recognize the importance of establishing trust with each of our clients, and we know that the level of trust in our relationships directly relates to the potential success in bankruptcy proceedings. Additionally, we inform our clients of any risk of bankruptcy and how to mitigate that risk during the initial stages of structuring business transactions. Our experience in this area gives our clients the comfort and knowledge needed to effectively manage bankruptcy and for us to assess the claims to which our clients are entitled.
